Some love stories begin instantly. Ours took time… years of crossing paths before destiny finally brought us together.

We first met in 2002 at Sacred Heart School. We were just students then, sharing the same hallways and classrooms, not knowing that life would one day bring our hearts together.

Years later, around 2010, our paths crossed again near AMA Computer College in Tacloban. Roy was a college student there, while I was working as a company nurse at APAC. Since the school nurse at AMA was my best friend, I would often visit the campus. From time to time, we would see each other around—simple encounters that, at the time, seemed ordinary, but were quietly weaving the beginning of our story.

But it wasn’t until 2016 that everything truly began.

After attending my brother’s wedding, I uploaded a new profile picture on Facebook. According to Roy, when he opened his laptop and logged in, my photo was the very first thing that appeared on his feed. In that moment, something nudged him to finally send me a message.

That single message changed everything.

We started talking… and never really stopped.

On May 14, 2016, we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. From that day forward, life became a beautiful journey together. And in 2018, our love grew even deeper when we welcomed the greatest blessing of our lives—our son, Logan, who fills our world with so much joy and meaning.
